Refunds and payment help

Free Bolo beta; provider purchases still cost money

The India-only Bolo beta currently has no platform fee. Grocery purchases and applicable provider, delivery, tax and phone/data charges are separate. Any future Bolo charge requires disclosed pricing and terms before you agree to pay.

Wallet top-ups and refund destinations

You fund your own eligible balance with the ordering service. Bolo does not receive or hold it. Approved refunds are processed by the originating service according to the method used and its rules: this may be its eligible wallet/balance or the original payment source. Refunds do not create a Bolo wallet or move money between ordering services. Gift cards, promotional credits, split payments and partial refunds can have different restrictions.

Request a cancellation, return or refund

  1. Find the originating service and order or transaction reference.
  2. Check the service’s applicable cancellation or return window and contact its support promptly. Provide evidence such as item photos only where relevant.
  3. For a problem with how Bolo handled your instruction, also contact Bolo with the reference and a short description.
  4. Track the decision and any approved credit in the originating service or payment account. A request or pending status is not confirmation of a refund.

Contact Bolo about an order or refund issue

Sending this email does not itself cancel an order or file a request with the ordering service. Contact that service within its reporting window. Never send passwords, one-time codes or full payment credentials.

Eligibility, fees and timing

The seller, item, order status and applicable service policy determine available cancellation, return, replacement and refund options, subject to law. Bolo cannot promise a provider’s approval or a fixed processing time. Report missing, damaged or incorrect items promptly. Any charges and restrictions must be disclosed at the relevant purchase stage; mandatory consumer remedies remain available.

Failed, duplicate or unexpected payments

Check the provider’s actual transaction status before repeating an uncertain payment or purchase. A failed top-up and an order refund are different processes. Report suspected unauthorized transactions to the relevant payment/ordering provider and tell Bolo about any involvement of its service. Bolo remains responsible for reviewing its own handling and obligations.

Unused balances and Bolo account closure

Cancelling an order or deleting Bolo does not automatically refund unused provider funds. The provider controls eligible withdrawals, top-up reversals, balance expiry and account closure. Keep relevant transaction references while a matter is unresolved. Read the Terms of use and account-deletion information.

Complaints

For unresolved Bolo handling issues, use our complaint contact. Provider policies do not remove Bolo’s own obligations or your statutory remedies. A future Bolo platform charge will need a separate disclosed refund and cancellation policy.
